Order Payment

Your PayPal card / account balance may not be available or you may not have filled in your credit card details correctly. The credit card number must be completed without spaces (eg 425125041213) and the expiration date, exactly as indicated on the card, ie month / year (eg 09/17).

In case the transaction is rejected you should contact your Bank and not us, as the approval or rejection is done by the bank itself, from which the credit card or PayPal has been issued.

After selecting the payment method and the place of delivery, then select the relevant box that you agree with the terms and click “Complete order”. You will then be taken to the JCC / PayPal page to complete your details. If the payment is approved, the following message will appear on your screen: “Your order has been successfully completed with an order code eg Α00000087546”. If the payment is declined, a blank screen will appear and you will not receive a Confirmation or Order Code.

Wallpaper Installation & Removal

To prepare the wall for wallpaper installation, make sure the wall is clean, smooth, and dry. Remove any nails or screws from the wall, fill in any holes or imperfections with Spackle/Polyfilla and sand the surface once it’s dry if necessary.

Wipe the smooth surface with a damp cloth or sponge to remove abrasive dust.
 
The walls should be plastered and painted white with a high-quality primer. White walls are the best option, as walls painted in dark colors will affect the color of the wallpaper (especially if the wallpaper is light in color).
 
Walls should be smooth, clean and dry. Lumps and bumps on the wall, black marks on the wall will show through, damp walls will not allow the adhesive to work properly and can cause the wallpaper to peel off over time.
 
Turn off the mains electricity before carefully removing covers from all electrical outlets and light switches. These are re-applied after the wallpaper has been applied. This isn’t strictly necessary as you can cut around the socket if you want, but leave some wallpaper under the socket cover before putting the cover back on.   
Your wall is now ready for installation.
 
 
 

To install wallpaper, you’ll need:

  • Paint roller & tray – to paste the glue onto the wall
  • Paintbrush – for the areas that the roller misses, e.g.: along the ceiling and skirting boards
  • Bucket with water and a cloth
  • Wallpaper paste – please choose one suited for non-woven wallpapers
  • Wallpaper smoother or brush
  • Stanley knife/Craft blade
  • Spirit level/ plumb line or Laser Alignment – to make sure the wallpaper is straight
  • Steel ruler – to make a straight, clean cut along the top and bottom
  • Wallpaper sponge – soft cloth or sponge, preferably a cellulose sponge
  • Pencil
  • Your Wallpaper

To cut the wallpaper to fit your wall, measure the wall and add an extra inch or two to allow for trimming. Cut the wallpaper using a straight edge and a sharp knife or scissors, following the manufacturer’s instructions.

To remove old wallpaper, start by scoring the surface with a scoring tool or a utility knife. Then, wet the wallpaper with a mixture of warm water and wallpaper-removal solution, and use a scraper or putty knife to carefully scrape off the wallpaper. You may need to repeat the process several times to remove all the wallpaper.

To clean wallpaper, use a soft, damp cloth or sponge to gently wipe down the surface. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as these can damage the wallpaper. Use only water, no chemicals.

It is possible that removing wallpaper could damage the wall, especially if the wall hasn’t been stabilized and the wallpaper has been applied directly to drywall or plaster. The process of removing wallpaper often involves wetting the wallpaper and scraping it off, which can weaken the surface of the wall. In some cases, the scraping and peeling process can cause the drywall or plaster to come off with the wallpaper, or it can leave behind deep scratches or gouges in the wall.

To minimize the risk of damaging the wall, it’s important to follow the manufacturer’s instructions for removing the wallpaper and use the appropriate tools and techniques. It’s also a good idea to start by scoring the surface of the wallpaper with a scoring tool or a utility knife to create small, shallow cuts in the paper, which can help the wallpaper-removal solution penetrate the surface and loosen the adhesive. This can make it easier to remove the wallpaper without damaging the wall.

It is better to have a specialist do the removal process.

Poor preparation: If the wall was not properly prepared before the wallpaper was installed, it could cause the wallpaper to peel off. This might include failing to properly clean the wall, not filling in any holes or imperfections.

Environmental factors: Certain environmental factors can cause wallpaper to peel off the wall. For example, exposure to excessive moisture or humidity can cause the wallpaper to loosen or separate from the wall. Similarly, changes in temperature or humidity can cause the wallpaper to contract or expand, which can cause it to peel off.

If you can not find the product you are looking for in www.playbox.cy, it means that it has either been removed or has been temporarily out of stock. In the latter case you will find it again available for purchase on the pages of our Online Store as soon as there is a quantity available.

To search for products, use the field “Search for products, categories …” that you will find at the top right of our website. www.playbox.cy is constantly enriched, so you can visit it daily to see the new arrivals.

Once your order has been placed, the price changes you see in Playbox do not affect the total amount of your order.

The product line of Playbox is constantly updated. For new product arrivals, you can visit our Online Store and subscribe to our Newsletter by filling in your e-mail in the relevant box at the bottom of your screen.

If you log in to your account and then add products to the “Cart”, then they will remain there for 6 months, unless you delete or purchase them.

If you add products, after browsing the site as a simple visitor (without connection), then the products will remain in the “Basket” until the cookies are deleted from your browser.

We make constant efforts for the colors depicted in the e-shop to be 100% true to reality. However, the various screens on the market, depending on the device, do not display the colors with absolute fidelity. It is possible that there is a slight discrepancy in the colors of the products you will receive compared to those you have ordered in the e-shop.

Shipping

At the moment we send orders by courier only within Cyprus.

If the Postal Code you fill in “Who will Pick Up & Where” is within Cyprus, your order will proceed without any problems. The order can be paid in the following ways: PayPal, Credit Card or Cash on Delivery.

Once you received the “In Progress” e-mail, the order has left our warehouses, but has not yet been received by the courier company. Try calling them again later or the next day.

If you or someone close to you is not at the delivery address you have given us, the Courier will leave a notice to call them.

Playbox Cyprus cooperates exclusively with Travel Express Cyprus. Unfortunately, it is not possible to choose another company even if you wish your order to be shipped at your own expense.

Account & Playbox Members

Try entering your password again, paying close attention to English characters and uppercase / lowercase letters. If you still can not log in to your account, click “Forgot your password?”, Fill in your e-mail and the password will be sent to the e-mail address you entered.

You do not need to create an account. You can place an order and register at the same time. After adding all the products you want to your shopping cart, select “Continue Checkout”. If you register as a “Member” you can also see the history of your orders.

ou can register either by clicking “Register” at the top right of your screen or by clicking “Register now”, after collecting the products you want in your cart. This way, you will be able to track the history of your orders and you will not have to enter your details from the beginning in each new order.

Log in to your account by tapping “Login” at the top right of your screen. On the left, the “My Account” menu will appear. In “Account Details” you can change your name, surname, e-mail and password. In “Shipping / Billing Addresses” by clicking on “Change Shipping / Billing Address” you can edit the corresponding addresses. Once you have completed your changes, do not forget to click “Save”.

Any changes you make will be included in your future orders. You can not change items in your previous orders. In “My orders” you can see the summary of all your orders from the moment you created an account, as well as the “Status” (“Status”) of each of your orders.

Order entry

Upon successful completion of your order, the Order Number will appear on your screen and you will receive a confirmation e-mail with the summary of your purchase. If you do not receive the confirmation email, chances are you did not enter your order correctly or you entered your email incorrectly. Alternatively, you can contact us.

For any change in your order that concerns: quantities of products, billing / shipping details (email / phone / address / postcode), invoice details (TIN / TAX), place and method of delivery, we inform you that the modification of Your order is possible if it has not started processing.

If your order is registered-paid with credit card, pay pal, to modify it you will need to cancel it and re-enter it.

Because we did not receive your Bank Deposit within the 3 working days, the order was automatically canceled by our system. Please contact us by phone to place a new order for you.
